Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique

The French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) is the largest governmental research organisation in France. It employs more than 11,000 tenured research scientists across all disciplines, who work in research units mostly in France, with close ties to local universities. CNRS also maintains research centres on five continents.
