Exhibition and Action Day: Clothesline Project on Domestic Violence Awareness
Domestic violence is a complex, multifaceted issue with profound impacts on those affected, making it one of society's most pressing challenges. To shed light on this crucial issue, Prof. Dr. Dr. Bettina Pfleiderer (University of Münster, WWU), partner of the EU project IMPROVE and head of the EU project VIPROM, along with Christina Klöckner, the Equal Opportunities Officer at Münster University Hospital, warmly invite you to an action day focused on domestic violence.
Both EU projects aim to enhance support for individuals affected by domestic violence and empower first responders in the medical field to identify and assist victims more effectively.
About the Clothesline Project
At the heart of the event is the impactful Clothesline Project, an initiative that raises awareness around domestic violence by providing a space where people can share their experiences. The Clothesline Project has come to Münster to emphasize the importance of awareness for a topic that impacts us all.
Participants will find a symbolic clothesline displaying T-shirts with personal messages, quotes, or artwork, each telling the story of someone affected by domestic violence or their supporters. See details in PDF on how to contribute a T-Shirt.
